Pont Du Gard Roman Aqueduct

The highest Roman aqueduct in the Classical World. Pont du Gard was built as part of the water supply system to the Roman city of Nimes, in Provence, Southern France. This incredible structure was built almost 2000 years ago and stands 160 feet in height above the Gardon River. I recently took some clients there as part of a tour through France.
