Dragon Tours is based in eastern Wales, and as such is ideally located to provide tours to nearby countries, including visits to our Celtic cousins in Scotland.
Because Dragon Tours specialises in private, tailor-made tours, from the early days of the business, the owner and operator ‒ Dr Mike Davies ‒ has received requests from his clients to take them to parts of the UK other than Wales.
Such requests typically either come as an add-on to a tour of Wales, or because the client had enjoyed the way Dragon Tours did things in Wales and wanted to replicate the experience in a different country.

Scottish tours
From the outset, Scotland became a very popular destination for clients requesting a private itinerary through Dragon Tours.
Our small group, private tours are an ideal way to explore Scotland, especially the Highlands and Islands where we can get to places where the larger tour buses can’t follow.
Our clients like the fact that the big cities of Glasgow and Edinburgh are well served by international flights – it’s a popular option for them to spend some time exploring these wonderful towns, then have us meet them for the tour out into the wonderful Scottish countryside.
